Effect of Surface Micro-Hardness Change in Multistep Machining on Friction and Wear Characteristics of Titanium Alloy

چکیده
The machined surface quality, especially the micro-hardness of layers, is strongly correlated to friction and wear characteristics titanium alloy engineering parts. Therefore, explore relationship local change in multistep machining resistance parts urgently necessary. surfaces were acquired through two-step (roughing finishing) three step (roughing, semi-finishing, cylindrical turning experiments. dry tests carried out by UMT-2 tester on final along feed direction. microtopography subsurface microstructure observed analyzed scanning electron microscope. variation area finishing will cause extension unstable time stage while withstanding cyclic alternating contact stresses, soft–hard should be sources defects, for instance cracks, peeling pits, fracture striations even zone crack propagation off. This great significance accurately control quality adaptively improve components.
